冼紈 Sin Yuen

冼紈生於香港,於1990年畢業於香港中文大學藝術系。她其後於1993年獲夏利豪基金會頒發「最具潛質藝術家獎」。參與展覽包括:冼紈個展 (1992/香港藝術中心), 宏利新進藝術家’93(1993/香港藝術中心及宏利保險主辦, 香港藝術中心展出), 有限剖白:私人空間,公開觀賞(1996/香港藝穗會及香港市政局合辦,大會堂低座展出), 香港當代藝術雙年展 1996(1996/香港藝術館主辦), 憶記記憶  :冼紈裝置展 (1997/para/Site 寄隅(漢雅軒),

〈兩岸新聲 : 當代畫語——香港、台北、上海藝術交流展〉(1998/香港藝術中心、台灣中正藝廊), 自主的族群 (2000/香港藝術中心)、〈女也——女性藝術作品展〉(2001/澳門望德堂婆仔屋)、〈從身體開始……——冼紈繪畫創作〉(2002/Para/site藝術空間)、〈眾裡尋她〉(2003/香港文化博物館)、〈邊位?香港藝術家十二位〉(2003/北京醬藝術中心), 〈現場灣仔:國際藝術交流工作坊(香港)2005 〉 (2005/AiR Assn.Ltd. 主辦, TriangleArt Trust聖雅各福群會合辦)。作品為香港藝術館,文化博物館及私人收藏。

SIN was born in Hong Kong. She graduated from the Fine Arts Department, The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1990 .She paints and took parts in various exhibitions, like “Solo Exhibition by Sin Yuen” (1992/ Hong Kong Arts Centre), Manulife Young Artist Series’93 (1993/Jointly organized by HK Arts Centre & Manulife Insurance Company, exhibited at HK Arts Centre),

“Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition” (1996/ The Hong Kong Museum of Art), RESTRICTED EXPOSURE : Private Content, Public View  (1996/Jointly presented by the HK Festival Fringe and the Urban Council at City Hall Low Block),

“Recollection of memories : Installation by Sin Yuen” (1997/ Para/Site Central at Hanart TZ Gallery,), “New Voice: Contemporary Art Dialogue Among Taipei, Hong Kong and Shanghai”(1998/ Jointly organized by National Taiwan Art Education Institute, Dimensions Art Centre and HK Arts Centre, exhibited in Hong Kong and Taipei), “The Free Tribe” (2000/ The Hong Kong Arts Centre), “Wo….Man: Feminine Art” (2001/ Old Ladies House, Calcada da Igreja S.Lazaro, Macau,), “Start from the body …… painted works by Sin Yuen” (2002/ Para/Site Art Space), “Women wanted – an exhibition of Hong Kong woman artists” (2003/ The Hong Kong Heritage Museum), “Local accent – 12 artists from Hong Kong” (2003/ Pickled Art Centre, Beijing) re:wanchai – Hong Kong International Artists’ Workshop 2005(2005/presented by AiR Assn.Ltd., co-presented by TriangleArt Trust, St. James’ Settlement).Her works were collected by Hong Kong Museum of Art and Heritage Museum.
